Growth is painful...

I recently betrayed a woman that I admire very much. When the opportunity arose to make my choice, I must admit, I was not thinking of her, only my own satisfaction. Now that I have asked her to forgive me, at the very least for her own peace, I don't expect her to call me friend again.

I am noticing all the "I's" in that paragraph... maybe I need to focus more on fellow mankind, rather then my own wants.
